4 years ago, I've discovered some evidence that my brother might be gay,but i didn't comfort him,we don't live together and i only see him one or two times in a year but every time we came together i want to tell him that i know but instead i say things like i love you no matter what and wait for him to open up but he doesn't.i think the reason is he thinks i might use it against him or make fun of him ,i just want him to know that i know and i will there for him no matter what.He is always gonna be my baby brother and i will always love him no matter what ,Please tell me, how to tell him that i know he is gay?

and then say something stupid, that may have come off the wrong way... and then my friend tells me it was nothing, but I go home and worry for two hours about how what I said came off the wrong way, and then my friend gets annoyed at me b/c thats all I will talk about, but I cant get it off my mind.

Being familiar with greek organizations, I have to question the accusations that these girls were ONLY unattractive. The better sororities at every school I attended usually had girls who were fairly well rounded: decent grades, decent personalities, decent looks, etc. Of course this is a huge generalization, but sororities with bad reputations often took whoever they could, and bad looks does not automatically mean good grades and good people.

I do not know a single person from that chapter, and I have to believe many are embarrased by this attention. But if these accusations are going to be leveled upon the sorority, an equally honest defense is warranted.

I have. :) The girl I dated is Hispanic. She is Catholic, I'm not. Still no biggy. Her family liked me which is always a plus! :) The language thing wasn't an issue. She's bilingual plus she taught me basic Spanish. :) The food thing wasn't a biggy. :)

he is a 2 foot giant, with short overgrown hair...

I waited in line at the cashier register and then i paided for item.The cashier said " i wont even try to put this in a bag because i know it cant fit" and i said " don't worry about it their are handles" as I'm walking away i then asked asked the cashier " do you know if you guys have any comforter covers?" she said" I'm not sure i only work the cash register " I went on the other side of the register where they were what looked like what i needed but they were golden quilts. As I'm about exit a lady stops me and asked " do i have a receipt for the comforter?"Hence the king size comforter is not in a shopping bag because it can not fit into a bag. I told her i did have the receipt and if she was checking receipts today ? she states "no just yours" .At that point a white man walks through The same door i never made it through . i put the receipt in her face and then walked out and started to cry .My husband had just pulled up the car and when i explained to him what happen he then said ill return the comforter i don't want to support this store.He went inside and i followed him in . I then saw the store manager and i asked him " do you know what just happened?" rudely he says yes and i can hear you" . No one said they were sorry and that they would take care of the situation.I want to know what can be done when your have been racial profiled and targeted?I went to sleep that night and literally had a nightmare of what happened to me. I woke up distraught and still in disbelief .Please help me

I hear it all that time "... well, most people aren't like that" or "I wouldn't ... but most people would" or "people are stupid"

I am begining to wonder, since most people say "most people are ... [but i'm not]" do most people assume they are special, or doe people just have low expectations of others?
