Not just calling us out of our names but degrading us altogether. I don't just blame the rappers though, I also blame the women for allowing themselves to be degraded. I remember back in the day, Luke from 2 Live asked me and my sister to be in a music video for him. He wanted us to wear g-strings and dance above him while he was on turntable. He even had the audacity to say there was no pay involved but we would get recognition. WHAT?? I do not want THAT type of recognition and even if you were paying me, I would never show off MY goodies to the world. I am and will always be A LADY!! I listen to rap but only rap tha has meaning and is meant to better me as a person. Remember Slick Rick? He wrote some meaningful stuff back in the day.

It's pretty bad. But then again many people find music like that cool so unfortunately it's accepted by society. And many women shame themself by dancing and shaking in the videos for the songs. I don't have any personal experience like that.

The only person that I will purchase music by is Will Smith. Yes, it bothers me. It's embarrassing actually. I don't feel comfortable popping some of that stuff into my cd player in my car. Can't do it. I tried it and I cringe because people were looking at me, like, "What the heck?" True enough, it's my car and I can do anything I like and play any type of music I like. But to answer your question fully? It's wrong period.

older rappers such as tupac use the b word in a manner to grab attention of the listener and show the power of the word also to put down the women who use their body's for profit or don't make concious lady like descion (see "wonder why they call ya B****) nowadays its all about dirty nasty shock value i stopped listenening to rap in the late 90's when all it bacame was N**** this and B**** that its not even creative anymore there is no message and no clever rap music today

i'm a 51 year old white guy and i know at one time there were rappers who referred to women as b##ches and hos. i didn't get it. did this mean they liked being with men better and that women were second class citizens only good for sex when their boyfriend was out of town?
i am all in favor of treating my lady like a queen as long as long as i am treated like a king. its a two way street. sometimes i hear women talking like they should be the queen and the man should be their servant. the flaw there is that if their man is a servant then she will eventually go looking for a king. how is a relationship going to survive that?
and the rappers who are just interested in getting sex for fun are cheating themselves. sex is much better in a committed relationship. plus in the sex for fun game you never know what kind of brain damage you are getting with a girl who is willing to have sex for fun with them. was she raped as a child and you are helping her to becoming an alcoholic or drug addict? did one of her past sex partners give her a disease and now she is mad at all men and so the more of them she can give the disease to the better?
so i don't know what is up with rappers who dis the ladies. i guess to them money is more important than any of the females they claim to love, be it family or relationship.
