I worked in a place where we poked fun at each other, but it was not malicious. We gave it back as good as we got it.

While I may not be offended, I found that it's not a problem....until it is. At some point, someone will be offended, or feign being offended. Then what? If you made the comment, it's your butt, even if they have done the same thing to you. Your employer has no choice, it cannot be tolerated in the workplace legally, so you'll be toast. The employer has what is called a "hostile work environment". Someone can/will say they went along with it because they were afraid they'd be fired if they didn't. If the employer knew or should have known, and did nothing, then they are liable. If the employer didn't know, they'll fire you to show they did something and thereby save their own butt. I am VERY familiar with this. ALL my managers and employees are required to understand that this behavior cannot be tolerated. I wouldn't risk my business for any single employee. Forewarned is forearmed.

if we were all blind we would all look the same--in other words, it is what is on the inside what counts, not the appearance. You could have a person the same sex and race as you and have more problems than the opposite sex or another race. If everyone realizes it is all in fun, then there should be no problem. But if you offend someone, be sincere in your apology and take steps to not let it happen again. Some people just cannot take some jokes. Sounds like you have a very good workplace atmosphere. that is the way it really ought to be anywhere.

We do the same where I work. It is done in fun, and always with respect. You can joke with someone about their nationality if it done respectfully. But when there is no respect, it becomes malicious and offensive. I am rarely offended any more, and I try not to offend others.

I've never worked with only Welsh women. lol

Unless you work on your own (the only person in your own business) I think you have to come across this.

And no, I've never ever been offended by other ethnic groups that I've worked with. Singular people maybe, but it had nothing to do with their religion/sexuality/sex/race, etc.

a million. Sexuality is between the failings drilled into us from the 2d we are conceived (and likewise using society), the thank you to gown advantageous, the thank you to do your hair, the thank you to act like a young person. that's a organic instinct. We have been genetically made to be attracted to the choice intercourse, for some human beings a similar intercourse, despite the fact that, you seize my glide. honestly if there become a boy and female on a abandoned island, whilst they matured, they probably might have intercourse, yet to me it would probably be extra primal than something. 2&3. If a woman and a woman/boy and boy have been remoted from society and had no effect of the outdoors international, i might seem to think of that they had enhance sexual emotions for the different, using fact in the beginning, they don't be attentive to that yet another intercourse exists and that they'd not think of something strange approximately them being at the same time. 4. approximately this one, i in my opinion don't be attentive to how that ought to artwork, once you're homophobic, then you certainly're homophobic. i'm exceedingly optimistic that in the event that they knew with reference to the international and had strict perspectives coping with gays/lesbians, that the main that ought to happen may well be them bobbing up an in depth courting, variety of like sisters or ultimate acquaintances. 5. think of of the evolution of human beings.... We went from fabulous flint at the same time to make hearth to employing a lighter, from wearing great a lot massive distances, to making buggies, autos, etc. In prehistoric cases, human beings hunted for the which potential of existence and the writer of theirs. i do no longer think of that it will ever replace, using fact 40,000 years later, we've developed and continues to be asking a similar questions our ancestors asked thousands of years in the past.

If all of you are not offended with it then it shouldn't be a problem.Personally i don't agree with it because some people can go to far then it becomes a problem. so if you don't start it then no one should get offended.
