If I ask a question and someone answers, is there a way to address that person only? Someone answered one of my questions and did not read the question properly so they seemed a bit put out. I'd like to make a notation to them rewording the question so they may understand it better. I don't want to pick their answer as Best Answer where I could add a comment. Thanks.

My name is Nickolas Riedel and I was wonderin if i were to be honest and just tell people that I wanted them to send 1.00 to me. Rather then lieing and saying Send money im hungary need food and all the other stuff people use to decieve ppl for thier own profit . So i sat down and decided to post this in a few places I am testing to see IF HONESTLY REALLY THE BEST POLICY if it is then is will show threw the responses and trough the mail. I know this seems a lil crzy but im wondering and im mighty curious of how many ppl out there think that honesty is the best policy. They constantly put on shows like Laguna Beach, Maui Fever, The Hills, etc etc. that celebrate indecency, deceitfulness, and advocate sex among teenagers. These are not "cutting edge" shows as the same old issues are recycled over and over again.

i think it is very disrespectful to black people for anyone to use the word. but teens and younger adults seem to think its ok b/c they are black. they say "we just use it like 'hey whats up my friend'". but i don't think that just because you're black you can use a word that degraded blacks for many hundreds of years. older wiser black people disagree and would never use it. the young black kids in this generation did not have to go through what blacks generations ago had to. white people definitely can'tuse it but asians and hispanics kinda can depending on the situation. why can't we just do away with that degrading word?

it just gets me so mad when people here the word africa they think of lions and zebras running around and naked ugly people killing each other. Dont even try to say thats how it is because it isnt AT ALL! i went to ethiopia last summer and its like any kind of foregin country a little underdevolped needs some work but there isnt wild animals running around

WHAT'S YOUR OPINION? How prevalent that soldiers "scratch the itch" when they are away from their wives/girlfriends for an extended time? I've heard from some veterans that though some soldiers 'step out' on their girlfriends/wives but they still are devoted to them...they considered the fling as 'nothing' and just 'meeting their needs' Is this true?

I am curious about others' opionions on this. A friend from another culture felt that it is the man's job to protect and provide for his family, but also controlling the family including the wife helped reinforce his masculinity. What characteristics reinforce masculinity in American culture? In other words what do Americans feel makes a man a man?
