Help please - general question about question/answers.?

Question

If I ask a question and someone answers, is there a way to address that person only? Someone answered one of my questions and did not read the question properly so they seemed a bit put out. I'd like to make a notation to them rewording the question so they may understand it better. I don't want to pick their answer as Best Answer where I could add a comment. Thanks.

If they allow email- yes. That's about it though...
