She has got to be one of the wealthiest people in the US and yet she spends her wealth that was earned here in South Africa. Are there not many US young girls that could use the help? I have heard her justification that the girls in South Africa don't have the same opportunities. Also, what about the young MEN of both countries? Her actions seem both racist and sexist to me.
Of course I know it's her $ but there's such a big deal being made about how wonderful it is and yet I think she has chosen to help only a select few,rather than impartially helping all who might benefit. Am I wrong?

i was wondering how much money you can live like until your 80 or something and your 20 right now, yet be able to travel around the world, have lots of luxury, lots of cars, clothes, food, taxes luxury house, etc

living in luxury is like being able to pay for a $100 buger or something

In a continent with extreme poverty, Oprah chooses a single country, builds a school with money that could be used to build about 11 or even more schools across the continent and handpicks a few girls for the school. do you think this is realistic? What about the many poor children?, what about the boys? say out your mind. Though I respect O, I think this is ridiculous.

It amazes me to see so many "dummies" out there saying "you need to earn my respect before i give it" ..

Everybody you meet deserves your respect up front. Losing your respect is earned thats how it works.

Think about it... you don't go around disrespecting people you meet at first glance unless you are socially retarded.

Trust hjowever is earned and should not be given at first glance...i think people confuses the two...what do you think?

I've never ever met any real african. All we have is black people who are African-american but they are not africans... they don't even have african culture. I also know non black people exist in africa.. but I never ever hear or meet any of them here in California.

Are real africans, here in usa as tourists or residents, rare?
