They constantly put on shows like Laguna Beach, Maui Fever, The Hills, etc etc. that celebrate indecency, deceitfulness, and advocate sex among teenagers. These are not "cutting edge" shows as the same old issues are recycled over and over again.

it's how u take it. If u don't hav any self-control or abstinence and u feel u r being lured into doing the same things or watching such crap everyday even though u know that there is going to be nothing new, then it's your problem. but Mtv, is a universal channel, not just destroying America's youth (couldn't use the word destroying) but defenitely degrading teens and young adults from their paths and heavily influencing their minds with unwanted stuff. But some of my friends think that shows like Laguna Beach are reality show, so, it might actually help us deal with the realities of life, and get ideas on how to deal with a situation or form an opinion and stuff lyk that- but i think it's crap except the music. I mean, mtv is supposed to be music television, why not just show music? right?

Turn the channel if can't stand what on!
But don't point all the blame at one thing.
This picture show is much bigger then MTV ever will be.
Kids will be kids, just different times for different measures.
