The main issue with No Child Left Behind is that it mandates school districts to basically teach a test. Teachers are forced to teach the students how to take a test. These gives teachers less leighway to have creative lesson plans as well as restrict them from exploring other avenues of learning such as art and music and sometimes even PE. Isn't this a bad idea?

Fair enough, many of the top parliamentarians are Scots, but surely they're there on merit and not because of some underhand Scottish plot to take over England? Toty's not Scots, but WAS educated in Edinburgh so it's an Englishman, who staffs the Cabinet. Besides the Westminster parly IS British, not English, and the devolved powers are limited.
I don't recall any English bleating about English MPs making decisions on Scotland for the 400 years(?) since the Union. 'Scottish Questions' was alwas once a week, after midnight and almost all the Tory MPs were English anyway.

Many of the Nigerian people are behind the scamming of white westeners. Why? Perhaps, it invokes money into their lousy economy. Did you know that their is a hit rap song circulating in Nigeria glorifying the scamming of the white "mugua" fool? ok, your comments people good or bad.

lol okay im going to ask a really retarded question just because someone gave me a really retarded answer..some girl/guy whoever used my questions/answers and my myspace (since im addicted i post it everywhere lol) to determine that i must be "hateful" and that no one should take me seriously...which ill admit is the case half the time (the serious part - IM NOT HATEFUL AT ALL! im a goofball and i like to laugh at myself n others A LOT). my myspace is pretty retarded and i like it that way but how rediculous is it to call me hateful when you dont know me? oh well they'll get over it. but anyway..im 17. so have you ever seen someones myspace and pre judged their character? i havent personally - i dont take myspace too seriously - its just a place to communicate with ppl you know. an alternative for the phone i guess. i want opinions! check out my stupid myspace! message me or im me if you want an opinion on something!! l8ter loves.

I submit to you that the only ones that benefit from the billions upon billions of animals mercilessly slaughtered each year are the corporate fast food giants, the fashion industry and our own corrupt government. Science has established beyond any doubt that meat has no nutritional value...it serves only as a filler...to make us feel full (assuming we don't get sick from it).

I wonder...will there ever come a time in where enough people will recognize that fact and voluntarily choose not to eat meat?

Will the consumer population at large ever understand that the reason why these animals continue suffering such horrific fates is because we continue buying meat and meat-derived products?

The government is just as much to blame as they stand to benefit by collecting billions in tax revenue from slaughterhouses, farm factories, the fast food industry and even by taxing our purchases of food!

I strongly believe vegetables, fruits, grains are the healthy and ethical way to go.

Parents need to be involved in teh education process of their children. But many are not. THe problem is, they turn on the teacher when their child fails instead of working with the teacher to figure out why the child is not succeeding!

I see questions on here all the time, asking how to get around filters in their schools computers, or a 12 year old asking how to make their mom let them stay out all night.

Did anyone ever think that the rules are there for a reason? The schools dont want you on myspace. Your parents are trying to take care of you. I mean, I do remember what it was like to be young, but if the rules were not in place, I would probably be in prison now. I broke my share of rules, but I paid in the long run.

So why do you think you deserve to be above the rules?
