why is it that people use outward appearance to describe the color of edible plants even when the plants themselves are not that color? For example, people describe apples as being either red, yellow, or green, when in reality all apples have a white interior and only their outer "skins" are red, yellow, or green. The same is true of banannas, cucumbers, squash, and a variety of other edible plants. So why don't people just describe all of these plants as being white?

I was watching South Park, and to cut a long story short, the boys had to vote for their school mascot which was between a giant douche and a turd sandwhich.

Stan didn't want to vote because he doesn't see the point voting between a giant douche and a turd sandwhich, they are much the same and either way... they're both bad... so why vote?

Obviously this was likened to us voting for politicians etc, they're both bad so it doesn't really mater who gets in, either way it'll suck.

I find it hard to vote because i never like who's running, so i usually just don't.

Do you think voting is an important thing to do, even if you are voting between a giant douche and a turd sandwhich.

is it not enough that we go blow up a country and then rebuild it?

is it not enough that we send our fine, young, healthy lads to fight warring sectarian factions of muslims in iraq, in danger of loss of limb or life?

why is it our responsibility to quell the civil war in iraq?

now that saddam is dead (by their own court's decision), why can't they, themselves, agree to governing themselves?

if so many people were terrorized by hussain, why did we not witness a mass exodus of its citizens years ago, but we are seeing it now?

why can't sunnis, shia, and kurds (and maybe more) just build walls partitioning themselves from one another? like in mexico, where brick walls 10' tall are built, with broken glass pieces stuck into morter on the top?

why should it now become our responsibility to suddenly welcome 7,000 iraqis into the usa? we only took in about 1,300 in all the years since the iraqi war.

won't bush be to blame for more terrorism from within?

I was taking a test and sitting at front in a class of 400 people. I looked up and he was just staring at me so I gave him a dirty look. When I was finished my test, I went to hand it in to him and he didn't even look at me or acknowledge me so his assistant took my exam from me. I notice him watching me in class once in a while now but I sit farther away from the front now. What was that all about anyways?

Food is not like drugs. Unlike supposed "food addicts", or anyone at all for that matter, drug addicts are capaple of being completely deprived of drugs with no physical reprocussions. Such people can claim to be addicted to drugs because of the emonional complications they experience when completely deprived of drugs even though it does absolutely no physical harm. Food, on the other hand, is different. Everyone needs food to survive, and being completely deprived of it can have serious consequences. Some may say that a said "addiction" to food is a constant desire to eat, but at the same time it is really only possible for most normal people to eat so much without feeling no more desire to eat at that time. So is there really such a thing as an "addiction" to food? How can any ONE person claim to be "addicted" to food when EVERYONE has to have food to survive? You may as well say we are ALL "addicted" to food.

i see that the smoke nazis claim that they want their apartment buildings to be smoke free because they say, they smell smoke in other people's apartments, putting them at risk for diseases caused by secondhand smoke.

first, there really is no conclusive scientific evidence that supports that secondhand smoke causes health problems.

second, i want to know how it is that smoke from cigarettes, cigars, and pipes is able to waft through structural walls, getting into other people's dwellings.

third, i would like to ask even you non smokers if you think that some of these smoke nazis are taking this issue to the outer limits?

fourth, the smoke nazis say that their own TOWNS should be smoke free, and that citizens should call the police if they see someone smoking even in their own car! now then, isn't this a great hindrence on americans' liberties?

why should the gov be addicted to tobacco taxes but the people that like tobacco not be able to use it?
