My prof was staring at me in class during an exam. Advice please?

I was taking a test and sitting at front in a class of 400 people. I looked up and he was just staring at me so I gave him a dirty look. When I was finished my test, I went to hand it in to him and he didn't even look at me or acknowledge me so his assistant took my exam from me. I notice him watching me in class once in a while now but I sit farther away from the front now. What was that all about anyways?
