Are you afraid of dark?

I'm grown up person and I'm afraid of dark.And I know there is no reason to be afraid but I can't help it...What's wrong with me actually?p.s.my parents never scared me with witches in dark,dark basements..etc

I could play psychologist and ask if this means you fear the unknown. Dark is just part of life. The scary thing might be you can't see what is there. You are in a place where you cannot use your sight. It could mean you don't like being alone. Is being in dark more fun, or less scary, when someone is there with you holding your hand?

I am scared of the dark sometimes, like if I start thinking about all the scary movies I've watched or what if someone broke in the house, etc. I watched scary movies from when I was younger but it never affected me that much until I was older, Weird??

Yep, I get afraid of the dark from time to time. It comes from me watching scary movies (which I love). It also doesn't help when your alone in the dark and hear nosies. On the other hand I HAVE to sleep in the dark! But its still scary sometimes..lol

I am only afraid of the dark when I have to drive in it or walk in it because I have night blindness. But everyone is afraid of something, so don't be embarrassed.

I've never been afraid of the dark. I have always believed that the Lord has His hand on me.

Don't think of it as fear of the dark, just the strong inclination to not sleep. Oh, and Paranoia is perfectly normal.

I love the dark. I hate light. That's why I'm so pale. I love pale skin.
