I'm 18 in hs, & i have to say everyone who i know (guys) smoke pot. & i mean like about every week (at least twice a month & those are the tamest ones). People sell them too, & it really is everyone i know. It had nothing to do with hanging around a certain crowd, this is a well-to-do suburb & these people are all well-liked and respected but they ALL do pot. Every guy in my grade who has any friends whatsoever!! (and a ton of girls too)

Am I completely wrong and there really is absolutely nothing bad about doing weed & it's completely normal and does no damage?? It's what they live for it almost seems like. And when they're not doing weed, they're drinking.

I don't do either, but is this normal?? (there is a big emphasis on being normal & against being awkward or creepy in this school, & these people act as normal, cool and real as they can all the time, yet they all do this.)

Any thoughts (if it is completely normal i think it's very, very sad, but apparently im wrong)

Thoughts on opening Amsterdam style "coffeeshops" in London or other cities?

What do you think? Do you smoke? How much and how often?

How has smoking weed affected you?

Say you meet someone new at a lounge. You talk to them for 10 minutes, they seem nice, sincere, and you connect.

Then they say, they'll only be in the city for a day or two, then fly off to do business in Fiji...they ask if you would want to come along...everything will be paid for...

Would you go?

1. Native American genocide
2. 2000 civilians killed in Panama by US Marines attempting to capture Noriega
3. Thousands of innocent Iraqis killed
4. Usage of depleted Uranium
5. Millions of Vietnamese deformed and killed by Agent Orange

Just to name a few. Americans are always shocked they were involved in these dastardly deeds. Then they go into denial mode, saying America is always blamed for things then they start rattling off all the "positives" of America. Positives don't erase negatives.

I’m sitting with a bunch of people in a bar that are comparing scars and telling the stories behind them.
I point to an inch long scar on my forehead and say “From a coat hanger.” and I follow it up with “Failed abortion attempt.”

Some people thought that it was hilarious, but a few were very offended and really mad.

Am I sick, or are they over reacting?
Probably both.

If u r not AA u may answer as well. What is up with this whole attitude thing. I am an AA females and I do not speak the slang and brag about being the baddest *****.. I actually go to class do my work, and I am kind of on the quiet side. Why is it that other black females seem to have a problem with me bc of this. I never give them hateful looks or do anything to make them feel bad, however.. there stare at me unrelentously. I have been tempted to cuss them out several times, but I am not that kind of person. I don't understand why they treat me as if I am diff. I am not stuck up, but they treat as if I feel like I am better than them. All of this jealousy has got to stop. If we don't band together as a whole, then we are gonna continue to bring our race down. Another thing I don't get is why AA men go after these extremely ghetto women. It seems to me that they all look to these kind of women for sex, but when they want to settle they want a decent female.
