Has a complete stranger ever done anything to make your day a little brighter?What was it?

I have PTSD and was feeling kind of down, dam tire on the car shredded... i was standing in line when some random couple started to talk to me... we were just craking jokes about the slow line when all of a sudden they asked about my dog tags i wear to show my pride... i joked that if i ever get into an accident they'll be able to identify me... but they remarked "Thank you for serving for our country"... I know most ppl dont know this but simply telling a service member THANK YOU means alot...
