I run into them almost everyday, Even when i mind my own business they usually try to find a way to give me a hard time.

Why can't we just all get along and smile at each other!!!

Because if we did, noone would be happy. More often than not for something to make you happy someone somewhere else is made sad. It is just the chain of events in life that also matter. Really i wouldn't want every one in the world to be smiling all the time, that would cause all the charm and energy in that simple smile to go away. Good things and bad things are best experienced in moderation! So, for the next time someone gives you hard time try to ask him/her what they are gaining by giving you a hard time. That will most probably give you a lead :P

Because the future generation is being brought up with out values and proper guidance. They feel they can do anything that comes to mind with minimal circumstances. They are not taught respect nor do they see it in their household and upbringing. Now days if you discipline your child many look at you as a bad parent and that is insane. If children are not corrected and taught values than they are sure to grow up without respect for others or themselves.
It is a mess as far as I can see.

Are you actually very fussy, using public transit, selfish, selfcentered and prue. Ignoring people, or be curteous is sometimes good to do; some people lack manners, others because of cultural differences don't even realize that they are stepping out of bounds. Be patient, humble, not a target, or be abused. Different strokes for different folks.

I really think they were put here for the amusement of the rest of us. Think of them as a test of your own personal resolve.

The best thing would be to try to ignore them. It does no good to argue with the ignorant because even when you win they don't see it. Just smile at them anyway, then walk away.

Like the old song said;"When I think back on all the **** I learned in High school, its a wonder I can think at all." Does that begin to answer your question? Government schools. They are not teaching, they are indoctrinating.

Oh, don't get me going because I will! You know, I too try to be perfectly nice and it seems so many people out there just want to be rude, like wait staff, retail workers, etc. Nothing makes me more angry than rude, inconsiderate people!!

Because their parent haven't taught them any! Its all about me, and who cares about everyone else.
I teach my children to treat others the way they want to be treated, to have empathy for others and care for people. But I also let them know that you have to treat yourself the way you want to be treated as well as others and if someone isn't being nice to stand up for themselves.
