Don't get me wrong, I love all the atheletes out there, but do you think that in those cases the "salaries" match the job discription? How about actors, models, etc?

Is it fair that any job makes more than any other job? That's how society works. Sometimes the hardest working people get paid minimum wage. No one can say who should make more, it just turns out that way.

Athletes & other personalities get huge salaries because of the money they can generate in ticket sales
As it is said "if it was easy ,everyone would do it".
Got to put skill & ability in there.
Probably easier to become an MD than to be able to hit a fastball.
An athletes career can be over in a second due to injury etc.so taking that risk is probably worth a few bucks.
Doctors , on the other hand , generally live very well without the risks or any heavy lifting.
In any case , its what the market will bear whether the job is frivolous, or serious.
