Does friendship only work when you get your own way like my ex friend did?
Isn't a person's own choice to make life better when diets no longer worked and one had been on steroids for severe asthma so much that weight loss was no longer possible without a bypass. All medical doctors agreed with my decision for the surgery.
Should friends be calling doctors and nurses telling them what the friend should do?

I was telling that guy at work about how my grandmother died and that my grandfather died a few month later,etc and about how I lost my aunt...

He told me that my life sounds like a soap opera...Is that offensive? Did he just trying to show compassion or he meant that he didn't believe me?

I wanna get a blacked out ford transit van a group of mates with bats and go around kicking in chavs for no reason see how they like it!!!
teach them some respect for others, then kids will be able to play in the parks you won't have to worry about someone starting a fight with you for no reason on a saturday night.!

take back the streets if the cops won't do it someone has to who's with me!!

I was chatting to a male friend today and he was telling me how men will always be dominant in the world both mentally and physically...
When I gave him my point of view: Since women's emanicipation at the point in history when they decided to have the same rights as men, things have changed considerably in less than 100 years. Surely the course of things will reach a point when women will be as powerfull and dominant if not more than men in the future. My friend is adamant that it's not possible... what do you think?

I don't wanna sound prude and believe me I'm not. I like to be open minded, but I just think that when nudity is reserved for the bedroom the human body retains more of it's sex appeal and mystery. I can imagine being around naked people without any sexual interest and that bugs me! Other than that I don't find it offensive. Does anyone else agree and why?

If I hear the phrase "Black History Month" one more time, I'll explode!! Every year, we're obligated to 'celebrate' the only twelve black people who were important. They invented peanut butter, big whoop! They go on and on about freedom and equality. Now that there's no more segregation or slavery, what do blacks do now? They run the streets, sell drugs and ruin communities. Black History Month is just that, HISTORY! Let's get rid of it already!!

Why dedicate an entire month to a race that sucks off of the government? Yes, I'm talking about food stamps. Oh, let's give little Tyrone a Pell Grant so he can go to a community college and drop out six months later. Black history month should be discontinued? Anyone else feel this way?

Remember when we used to be in 'bad area' and we would see drug dealers on the corners selling there drugs... (FLASH TO NOW)--- Now those corners are nice looking with new bulidings called "Wallgreens/Rite-Aid/CVS" All still selling drugs.

The new word is "pimp", and it has a positive connotation. Instead of "You the man!" it's "You the pimp!" This is disgusting to me. Of all the men that harm women, pimps are right at the top of the list. "Like a pimp" ... "Just chillin' n pimpin' mad hoes"...

Are people going brain dead or something? Help me understand this, because I'm having a serious problem with the use of the word "pimp" as something cool and socially acceptable. Even women are OK with it. How can we get an anti-pimp movement started?

Society perceives hair on women as disgusting when in truth a woman is no different than a man. She grows hair in the same places that a man grows hair.

Could this be a form of gender discrimination against women?

Just think about it. Let's say a group of women in your life decided to go on a four-week strike and not shave anything at all.

In the viewpoints of a woman that DO shave and the viewpoints of a man that DON'T shave:

Would you view these women as an equal to yourself or would they be misfits of some sort for not conforming with society's norms?

Subjectively, we are still a culture that discriminates against genders.

I just read on TMZ.com that GGW is going to be coming out with its own clothing line. Am I the only one here who finds it something of a oxymoron or at the very least ironic that a franchise that prides itself on having women remove their clothing is going to be hoping people buy and put on their brand?
