What's going on with the use of the word "PIMP"???

The new word is "pimp", and it has a positive connotation. Instead of "You the man!" it's "You the pimp!" This is disgusting to me. Of all the men that harm women, pimps are right at the top of the list. "Like a pimp" ... "Just chillin' n pimpin' mad hoes"...

Are people going brain dead or something? Help me understand this, because I'm having a serious problem with the use of the word "pimp" as something cool and socially acceptable. Even women are OK with it. How can we get an anti-pimp movement started?

Well I feel fortunate that there isn't any in my area, but pimps are nothing but women abusers and can't be trusted.
