Does friendship only work when you get your own way like my ex friend did?
Isn't a person's own choice to make life better when diets no longer worked and one had been on steroids for severe asthma so much that weight loss was no longer possible without a bypass. All medical doctors agreed with my decision for the surgery.
Should friends be calling doctors and nurses telling them what the friend should do?

Perhaps she is really jealous and disguising it as concern. A gastric bypass is very dangerous. I am glad you found a way to lose weight. I have lost 100 lbs myself through diet and exercise and I know how hard it is to not eat. We really are hungry. Doing something to curb the hunger ( I low carb diet) is the only way we can succeed. It is not will power like people think. I hope things turn out well for you and I know you must feel so much better without that 73 lbs on you!

The doctors and medical staff should not be even taking their calls based on you or your Dx. This is a clear violation of HIPPA law! I would sue!
