I was chatting to a male friend today and he was telling me how men will always be dominant in the world both mentally and physically...
When I gave him my point of view: Since women's emanicipation at the point in history when they decided to have the same rights as men, things have changed considerably in less than 100 years. Surely the course of things will reach a point when women will be as powerfull and dominant if not more than men in the future. My friend is adamant that it's not possible... what do you think?

He is my long time friend but his opinion angers me, it's quite obvious that he views women as inferior beings and there are a lot of guys out there who think like that... Ladies, I think it's time for another revolution, let's not burn the bras, let's go piss standing up at a public toilet and not get embarassed about who's looking.

Amazing...that people like you are so ungrateful for the comfort that you have been given through man's dominion over the earth.

Women as powerful and dominant as men?

Wanna meet me in a boxing ring?

You probably mean a different kind of power...political and social power over men...since that is how you value yourself.

If you look at the natural order of what is going on today...it's been the same it has been for a LONG time.

We may be 'equal' in the eyes of the law, but not so in Natures eyes, or God's. We all have specific tasks/abilities, and should embrace them.

Ask yourself...will the world be a better place when 50% of the plumbers are woman, or construction workers, or truck drivers? NO...and so with other professions.

Humans are like water, each rising and falling to it's own level. And get this...it's 2007, and all males the age of 18-30 have to register for the Selective Service System(faliure to do so is a felony)...so are you sure you want to be EQUAL?? Want to see firsthand in combat how someone get's their head blown off...the woman coming back from Iraq are in MUCH worse shape emotionally than the men...so much for forcing issues to be 'equal'

Personally I think that women are the more powerful gender.

My logic is this, females have a inept ability of manipulating mans major weakness, sex. Using there feminine wiles, a woman can get a man to do just about any thing. Why bark when you can get a dog to do it for you?

Most men strut about thinking hey, I'm cool/powerful/strong/rich etc, and their egos are even more inflated when they have a woman/women that "adore" them, unfortunately my fellow males are that deluded that they are missing their true position... just puppets on the end of a woman's string.

The other side of this is that your typical feminist has lost sight of this mystical and powerful tool that they have in their arsenal, and want to have all the trappings that successful men have. Why not just let Mr Testosterone do all the work for you and sit back and reap the rewards?

I think these days women do dominate society and by claiming to be unfairly treated are dominating by a greater margin each year. Men still form governments and institutions but all industry is geared to manufacturing products for women. Even traditionally masculine products like cars and razors are designed more for women these days. About the only things designed specifically for men are nudie magazines like FHM in which women get paid a fortune for showing boobies.
Women are certainly controlling things even if most people do not realise it.

The law of nature dictates that men are generally speaking mainly physically stronger than women as a rule

But

There is no evidence to suggest any superior difference in mental ability between both genders,it's subjective !!!!!

I think that there will always be some kind of discrimination against women, we are the ones that have to take a break from our career to have kids (even if we go straight back to work afterwards, we have still been away for months). So employers will always have this in their mind when it comes to promotions and stuff like that.

Who is the fastest person in the world?....a man
Who is the strongest person in the world?..a man
Who is best at playing,tennis,golf,darts,snooker,pool...or any other game?..a man

Women just can't compete..even in games that don't need strength..e.g darts and snooker, rally driving and F1.

There are more men in highly paid jobs than women, but even if we concede that women and men are intellectual equals as there is no way to prove otherwise..then:-

Men....intellectually equal, physically superior...so overall..SUPERIOR....QED

Shame they can't accept the truth..I'm expecting many feminist thumbs down here..but who cares.

(Women are nicer to look at and smell nicer though..I'll concede that)

i think men and women are equal mentally, but men will always be physically stronger then us, thats just biology

Physically, it depends on how you measure it. It many ways, women will never match a man's strength, and, in many ways, they will never match ours.

Mentally, PLEASE... we have won that battle since the beginning of time. Sad that so few women realize that.
