As the minority population increases and with women getting more independent, do white men in America still have an advantage. If we fully got rid of Affirmative Action in all forms, would white men still be able to run the country?

Channel 4 has become embroiled in a new race row after complaints about racist comments on reality show Shipwrecked. A contestant made offensive remarks about black people, as well as gay and fat people.

If I was fat, Black and Gay, I could not give a damn about what some stupid wannabe/brain-dead moron views were.
If I were Fat, White and Gay, I still could not give a damn about what some stupid wannabe/brain-dead moron views were.

It`s time these media people grew up and joined the real world!

No one can tell me that they never hear this kind of remark everyday in the pubs or clubs where they drink with friends - black and white.

We are all - according to the PC-correct/tree-hugging idiots - guilty of some kind of racist remark in their eyes.

It is the people who WANT it to be racist that are to blame - they are the fu**ing idiots.
The media wants to GROW UP!!!

Do you folks that have an anonomous person at work who you think is responsible for strange goings on. You know the sort of person who does things just to be annoying or whatever, doing stupid stuff then not owning up to it and pissing everyone off.
It keeps happening here and I'm really starting to get annoyed with it, but I can't prove anything and its all petty stuff - just gets right up my nose. No need for it. Are some people that sad that they don't have anything better to do than to mess up other people's day.

For examples (disconnecting computer leads, turning ovens off, leaving things a mess - you get the idea...)

If the world is eventually going to end (take your pick at catastrophe), why bother with anything? Why go to work tommorow? Why bother with starting a family? Why strive towards anything?

Some people will say: "Well, just have fun while it lasts fella."

What if I don't like fun? What then? I only like purpose. I am now in college and I am completely unable to decide on anything because every task looks equally pointless.

Some people get solice in their religions but I don't. Just more questions. Even when I'm drunk I still think about this, even when I don't want to.

It really sucks to be me. A messege to parents of mentally disabled children everywhere: Be happy about it! They will never go through this. Thinking sucks.

im 17 and i work my mom doesnt work so no one can claim my brother and he is 14, we leave in the same house, and because my mom doesnt work i give her some of my money. i wanted to know if i can claim my brother as a dependant, since i the money i give my mom is usually being used on my brother???

I believe that men and women are different but should be treated equally by society.
I work the night shift in a company and most of my collegues are men who spend half of their night surfing the net or sleeping or talking about sex and I end up doing most of the work. I have complained to the manager who completely ignored me, and now I found out that most of them are getting paid more than me. This is so unfair.
Do you think that men and women are treated equally??
