Do you folks that have an anonomous person at work who you think is responsible for strange goings on. You know the sort of person who does things just to be annoying or whatever, doing stupid stuff then not owning up to it and pissing everyone off.
It keeps happening here and I'm really starting to get annoyed with it, but I can't prove anything and its all petty stuff - just gets right up my nose. No need for it. Are some people that sad that they don't have anything better to do than to mess up other people's day.
For examples (disconnecting computer leads, turning ovens off, leaving things a mess - you get the idea...)

Oh! dear, yes you do get them, all over the place!
Are you the type that bubbles for a while, then explodes?
Please, just have your say about it to the person concerned. Let them know they get right up your nose. But, you know, sometimes the more they think they are annoying you, the more they will do it. Irritating little squirts that they are.
You could try just laughing at them, that sometimes works.
Don't do anything too drastic though. Good luck!

Ha ha ha thats really bad!!! Switching the oven off and taking out leads of pcs etc. I have come across some petty people in my time but thats ridiculous. Set up a spy cam

We are working with people and people are strange things. The manual of psychology it's write that no one is perfectly normal. Some are just crossing the barrier ;)

the only way to catch them is to bend down to their level and be just as sad and pathetic and set up a camera to catch them
gooogle 'guy gets caught jerking off at work'
the owner of that business was going through the same scenario as you and he set up cameras to catch him the video is hilarious, you might get some ideas!

leave notes attached to things but not where everyone will see them.
put things like I'm watching you.
what you have to do is to play there game on them and really mess with there heads but tell no one of what you are doing, patience is a must eventually they will use one of your phrases.
but do not let on you know as there will be miles more of head screwing to be done .

some people do childish pranks in the workplace just to liven their day up a bit. it happens just about everywhere. i think it harmless. loosen up a bit dude and go with the flow.
