Why is that so many Asians are marrying white people?

Every time I see an Asian, male of female, gay or straight, they are dating, married or seeking a relationship with a white person.

Ms. Gemini, I appreciate your comment but please explain to me what you mean by "women like me"? You say that you are trying to mean when I don't see any reason for that. I am currently in a relationship with a white person also and am sure that you get the same stares and hear the same comments I do. So please don't get upset. My questions are merely statement of my curiousity and you are not forced to enjoy them in anyway. Thank you again for you comment.

The stereotype of Asian married life is different than the stereotypical American marriage. An Asian woman may want to be as liberated as her wasp counter part. An Asian male may have bought into the media hype of beauty over functionality and could be looking for a trophy wife or feel the need to assimilate more in the the American culture. Maybe not only is it how much baggage do you take in a marriage, but what kind of baggage you take with you.

Because that's who they found themselves to be compatible with. Same reason why i'm black and married to a man who is vietnamese/caucasian.

And to all the chicks above me who said that white men are better this, that and the other...that's crap. I've dated all races - white, black, romanian, lebanese, filipino, hispanic and what i've learned is that color doesn't dictate whether a person's going to be an azzhole or not, good in bed, etc. Character and morals are not qualities that are attributed to race. Upbringing, people, upbringing.

Why do you care? You seem to be asking a couple of questions on race. The color of ones skin means nothing, that is so . . .low class. My bf is white and I'm black. Whats the big deal. I don't understand women like you. I'm trying to be mean, I'm just stating a fact.

I have had black women come up to me making comments it makes me think that they want what I have and are just afraid to go and get it. And yes white men do make better spouses, lovers, friends, etc.

In the first place, why should it matter. The whole idea of seperate races is really very ignorant as we all, regardless of color, are homo sapiens. Besides, it is through the coupling of people of different colors that our gene pool gets it's greatest expansions, and therefore human evolution is sped forward more effectively.

Because white men are the bomb in bed. I can't remember once reaching an orgasm with a black guy. My husband is kind, and generous he helps me with our baby. He helps around the house. We talk and have fun. Our marriage is no drama. It's great and I couldn't ask for a better partner.

Well I can't speak for asians but I can speak for myself ( I'm black) my husband is white and yes he is a great partner. He's kind, respectful, helpful, loving and caring. The best sex I have ever had. I couldn't get that kind of lovin' from a black man.
