Because it takes extremely long to get to know someone. Contrary to popular belief, you *can* judge some books by their cover. It's just that most people don't know the criteria and they apply the standards inappropriately.
For instance, I'd judge a meth-addict to not be an appropriate baby-sitter for my toddlers. I'd also judge a convicted sex predator the same way.

I find that most people judge others based on what they themselves would do, not what the person they are judging would actually do. I think judging is wrong wether you know the person or not. Live and let live.

Alot of people have this anger dwelling inside them. They are looking for the source of it all the time. When they think they might be seeing it in another person, they lash out at that person.

Some people will pass judgement cause they fell the need to. It may be called for... or uncalled for.
