Why are questions almost always deflected?
I guess smokers couldn't care a less about their own health so why would they care about anyone elses?
Let's hear from smokers and non smokers please. Please don't tell me that the government
is controling your life either if you want 10 points.
Why do people on oxygen tanks still smoke?

We are brought into this world with nothing,it is not as though we have personally created Third world problems or animal welfare issues so why should one be forced through guilt to contribute?
i do personally understand this has selfish conotations for sure but i would like to judge public consenus. Don't just reply with U R SOO SELFISH PLEASE.

I know people say that it helps the joint to burn but doesnt that just waste the joint. While your taking a few seconds to feel the buzz of your last drag half of the joint is burning away? Apart from keepin the joint lit what are the other reasons for using tobacco in a joint? Im not a smoker but Im just wondering?

A film set in middle America, a man sees strange coming and going of trucks to a warehouse. He manages to break in and in the warehouse are boxes and boxes stacked floor to ceiling wall to wall.In these boxes are dark sunglasses. When worn, he sees the world in black and white and all the advertising boards etc are covered with (I think) communist propaganda slogans and the like. He tries to convince his coloured friend to don the glasses to show him and warn him of the impending dangers. A fantastically realistic fight breaks out between them, excellent acting and very believable.
I saw this film very late one night back in the late 1980's/early 1990's on British TV and fell asleep before the end. I need to see it again and find out what happens. My wife, an extremely good drama teacher should see this movie. Can anyone help?

I was watching a TV news report yesterday that chronicalled the trouble between blacks and latinos in one southern town. They stated that back thirty years ago there were no latinos, now the latinos are equal in number or greater in numbers than the blacks. The report showed how there is really bad tension and hatred between the two communities. The one latino guy said that they were successful because they would work harder and do jobs that blacks would not, thus pushing some blacks out of the labor market. I'm wondering: Which community would the white man prefer to prevail in a squabble? The blacks or the latinos??? I'm actually a little surprised though that the two groups wouldn't join together for mutual benefit....after all there's strength in numbers.

I have seen many new bathrooms are equiped with the basin with seperate taps for hot and cold water and have no mixer. Why they don't use mixer and how they use these taps because one gives very cold water and other gives very hot water?

Going to date me but I remember when polite people said '*****'. And then 'colored' was the proper term for considerate people to say. Then you were a racist if you said that and 'black' was the word. Now I get the feeling 'black' people are unhappy with that word and demand that you say 'African American'.

How long before you are a horrible racist if you say that?

What is going to be the next proper word? And who decides all this?

I want to know because I love england people, I think we have a lot in common, much more than american people. the humour is very similar... and we think americans make stupid jokes, I don`t know, they laugh if someone through away or vomit... I found people attract to me very easily...but later they find my being funny not that funny and try to avoid me....

How do I keep the people I get.... I dont know once I have a friend I try to totally open myself up...but it does not work.........

I dont know I just lose respect.... I want to maintain the same respect level in their eyes.
