Brits LOVE the Americans because we bailed them out of 2 world wars, and kept them from having to learn German. Americans think Brits are stuck up and have been oppressing people for 1000 years, until we had to bail them out.

After having seen some of the answers and questions on this site apparently the Brits dislike Americans immensely. I on the other hand don't have a problem with the Brits. I like the accent.

I dont hold any negative feelings for the British.My grandfather
lived there all his life, then my dad came here to America in the 1960s and met my mom and had me. I am half English,I consider most brits my cousins even though my nationality is American.I dont know how they feel about me. I would hope I am well liked.

I am American, of Irish heritage. I get along well with all of the people I have met that hail from United Kingdom. I know there has been some tension between US and them, but nothing that can't be worked out. Come over for some Earl Grey sometime. ( It's those stuffy French Canadians I can't stand!!)

I'm American. I belong to a British-based writing group. We all get along rather well. I've met people from England in my work. We always exchanged hellos and goodbyes and teased each other about our different accents. It was in good fun. I like and respect every different culture.

I honestly can say i hate every single english person on this earth, unless they have Irish bloodlines but otherwise i never want to see one of them ugly sadistic people again. I pardon the scottish and the welsh for they resisted them all they could
