I'm doing a persuasive speech in my english class and I wanted to get a poll going about other people's views on abstinence and/or abstinence education. This would really help me a lot...THANX!!!!!!

There are so many nice and helpful people who respond to Yahoo! questions. But there are also jerks who, for a reason I certainly don't understand, just reply to annoy us. Obviously they have nothing better to do so this is how they amuse themselves. If a question is of no interest to you, or you have no helpful advise or if you think it is a silly questions....why don't you just move on? Wish there was a 'unresponsive to question' option to filter these people out and make it more enjoyable for the rest of us.

I've noticed that often other minorities - Filipinos, Hispanics etc - seem to feel that they are "above" black people. I am a smartly dressed well spoken black woman and yet I recently had an Arab cab driver refuse to drive me anywhere unless I gave him the fare upfront. When I asked why, he said "you people" can't be trusted. He also said that I was lower than a dog. I have a Filipina neighbor who is always making comments about how black women's hair doesn't grow and about how upset her (working class immigrant) parents were when she brought home a part-black man as her date. This man was Harvard educated and upper class but her parents still looked down on him. What makes penniless non-black minorities imagine they are somehow better than blacks?

A) Would it affect your decision if the broadcast were on pay-per-view, rather than network or basic cable?

I have five states in mind that Iam thinking of moving to so that I could start a new begining two of them happens to be maryland and rhode island but I was told that in maryland you pay too much taxes and that in rhode island there are no jobs could you please shed some light on this matter, and tell me about the quality of life in these two states thank-you

I wanted to raise this question. Because usually bq european people mean all the people from Purtugal to Moscow Russia which needs modification after recent archealogical and genetic findings in Eastern Europe especially in Russia.



Genetics has shown that most of east european men (from poland upto russia) carry R1a1-M17 haplogroup at high rate( 50% ). The same gene R1a1-M17 is also present in the men of the Eastern Afghanistan and Pakistan equally at the same rate( 50%).

On the otherside the archaelogical findings in Russia (Arkaim archaelogical complex) and Ukrain (Kurgan culture) exhibit that these war culuters (horse culture) were of Indo-Iranians which is even today visible especially in Afghanistan.



I think the Eastern european MAN is a recent arriver ( few thousands years ago) than the western European MAN.
I think this may explain why Russians have entirely different views than Britishers or Americans on most of the issues since they have nothing in common. no common blood relation and no common heritage.
