not supposed to be a theological question, just more of a thought-provoking one. think back 9 months from your birthday, is there anything "special" that happened then? for example, maybe you were a christmas present, birthday present, or maybe your parents wanted to make their own fireworks on the 4th of July?

Yeah, it looks like they are losing this war in Iraq, just like Vietnam, they are losing miserably. We all know that, and i just wonder how they will avoid humiliation, for the vietnam war, they just said "oh well we'll just leave you to it" Vietnamisation was just an excuse to avoid admitting defeat. Thats the thing about some americans, they will never admitt that they lost, and are losing, just as they wont admit that they have extreme poverty and are by far the most obese nation. let alone admitting that some countries are great. They (only some americans) just want to think they are the best at everything and nobody is better.

It seems that one can be african american and proud, one can be asian and proud, one can be hispanic and proud, but one absoulutely can not be white and proud because if they are, they are racist. There is no white history month, no white culture groups, because if there were it would be racism. Why? I am not racist, I believe everyone is equal, but if I say I'm proud to be white I'm viewed as a racist, why?

SCENARIO: A 23-year old female is working her way toward obtaining a Bachelor's degree. She and her boyfriend of three years are about to cohabitate. They must choose between a house, condominium and apartment. Their combined annual income is approximately $60,000. She does not like the idea of apartment living since, in her mind, the rent is wasted money and does not go toward owning anything. However, a condo or house are very big commitments and she is not sure if she is ready. Which would be the wisest option for our college student?

THANKS!!

Not a joke I'm afraid... When I'm pissed I ring people up and bug them. ''Heeeeeeeeeeelp me I drank too much vodka. I Love you. You're my bestest friend.''

or
2. the woman who just does as she is told?
or
3. the woman who gets the crap kicked out of her and then decides she better do as she is told and does it?

Today I passed a homeless man playing an irish whistle for money. I said I was sorry for having no money and he, to my great surprise, said: 'it doesnt matter, you look lovely anyway. Have a merry christmas'

To me, it was a genuine, lovely thing to say. I'm gonna buy him a hot chocolate tomorrow, since I know what street he's usually begging on.

I've also had the great experience of giving a homeless man a tenner and seeing his incredibly shocked face!

I am not a racist, but how come so many ethnic groups are allowed to have special programming. I'm speaking about Miss Black America, The Latin Music awards, etc. If we were to have a white only miss America or White only music awards, there would be lawsuits and civil suits everywhere...why the double standard?

I knew a guy who was once a self made millionair and somehow he lost all his money. He didnt seem too bothered about it though. Has this ever happened to you? If so what are you feelings about it? How did you gain and lose your fortune? And what does having money mean to you now? Do you regret what happened or maybe your better off without the money?

Some people seem to believe that taking the long road to success builds character and gives you the appreciation for the hard earned fruits of your efforts. Others yearn immidiate gratification and overnight success, it has been said that getting success quickly can be the downfall to the people who are unprepaired for it. What would you chose?
