I know that's what we think they do...but I've not actually seen it with my own eyes. Has anyone?

Yes. I've seen police officers eating Krispy Kreme donuts in the Food Hall underneath Grand Central Station in New York. There are various stalls there but all the cops buy their food (including donuts) from Junior's Deli. So I decided to do the same. The sandwiches are so BIG that my wife and I shared one for our food all day. (And I'm not a pikey!). If you go to NY - go to Junior's!

My brother-in-law is a "copper" and he really doesn't like sweets all that much. I have seen him eat a donut before though!

I have a police family 4 current and 2 retired all refuse to eat donuts in uniform or in police car.

Nope yet once I worked in a food market in severe college I served a Cop a 12 pk of them. i thought how the completed concern proper directly to the cop eating a donut cliche replaced into somewhat humorous. i attempted to no longer smirk although he regarded advise.
