I knew a guy who was once a self made millionair and somehow he lost all his money. He didnt seem too bothered about it though. Has this ever happened to you? If so what are you feelings about it? How did you gain and lose your fortune? And what does having money mean to you now? Do you regret what happened or maybe your better off without the money?

Well, my dad was a big exec at Enron (don't worry he quit before the scandal) and he had millions of Enron stock that were worthless after that. Also, he was CEO of a partner company of Enron and so his company went bankrupt because they lost their biggest customer. So there he was with millions of dollars in stocks gone and jobless. From my perspective as a child (I am an adult now) I actually didn't mind that he lost his job. He stayed home more often and he came to more of my sports games and I really liked him being around. I didn't mind that I wasn't getting as many presents and we had to watch our spending. Now he has started his own company and it's doing fine plus the hours are flexible. I think that it was a life experience and it just made him a better person because of his loss.
