Today i was looking to answer questions on yahoo and i saw lots and lots of stupid questions and answers.
I came across this questions about racism and someone in his answer indicated a link about this guy that is reversed racist (Kamau Kambom and he's a peace of work). I checked the link and saw the word "Kwanzaa".
Wen to on to check yahoo again and saw about Kwanzaa.
My point is that i learned something about culture and brings benefits to my knowledge about racism and prejudice. When i read this initial question it looked that i was not to bring anything new to my knowledge or education but it was on reversed. When i go to bed tonight i will know that my day was worthy because i learned something. What about you ' what did you learned today here?
(Please don't get me wrong - this is not about racism it's about everything!)

Yet, they do nothing when gay couples are caught having oral sex. A friend has told me in the schools legal department that the school does not want to deal with fall out from the gay community yet they have dismissed straight students who were caught having sex. This is blatant discrimination and this school has no backbone as do many "politically correct" individuals and institutions. Has anyone has this type of experience. (By the way, I have had many straight and gay men, tell me I have beautiful breasts along with a few women...)

this has become a huge arguement. do you pronounce aaron and erin differently? what about dawn and don? my friends husband, his friends, and family are all from new york and me and my friend, and our other friends are all born and raised here in cali. all the californians say them the same and all the people from new york say that we are wrong and you say them different. its become a huge arguement any time someone new comes around.

Well, there's a story about a man that keeps making me feel so sad.A boy left his coutry,Hungary, and moved to the USA looking for a better life. This happened in the late nineties.Instead of finding the fortune he turned into drugs and prostitution which I guess made him even more in need to take drugs considering what he must have been through.Eventually he ended his life at the age of 28 after being run over by a truck. It's unknown if it was an accident or suicide.
When I hear these stories I feel miserable and terribly sad.
Why does this happen to those that only ask and act to improve their lives and instead of a dream they live a nightmare?

I mean it's sad really, we shouldn't laugh. But what balanced and healthy person goes around shouting lyrics like "It's Hova the God?" Er?

Historically speaking most men who thought they were godlike figures committed genocide, created mass graves, brutalized women and/or became serial killers and rapists. Hmmm, not good...So has J-Z finally lost it, or what? Best answer to the smart and witty person who makes me laugh the hardest. (smile)

Watching the news today I hear people who are out shopping complaining about parking problems in the malls. Gee If I can walk to the bus stop, walk 2 blocks from the busstop to the mall and back carrying heavy bags (not necessarily today because I have to work, but when I do go shoppping) and I survive why can't people walk a short distance to their cars? Even the furthest away parked car is closer than my walk to the busstop. Why is everyone such weeklings? What are you going to do when we run out of oil and your cars won't run anymore? It IS going to happen in the future. You should be greatful you have a car to park.

I am assertive and outspoken..I will TACTFULLY tell you what is on my mind....if I get bad service from a company I ask to speak to a supervisor. If I am at the supermarket and I see someone with a full cart in the express line and I have one item I POLITELY ask, "Do you mind if I go ahead of you, this is the express line?" If the phone rings and I am eating or busy ..I screen the call.I do not run out of the bathroom to answer the phone. If unexpected visitors show up (I hate that) I TACTFULLY tell them it is not a good time. When my BF got his driver lisence suspended due to not paying a ticket, I refused to be his 24/7 chauffer on call. I have a few causes I feel passionately about, that I will donate to or volunteer for, but at my job there is volunteer work or donations requested of the employees every week, and I have no problem refusing if it is something I do not feel strongly about..How unusual is all this? I have been called selfish, a b*tch, etc.

I am a very sporty person, I wear shorts for running, climbing, all that kind of stuff. I guess I have a dancers attitude about body - I'm not embarrassed, and most people I know in my community are pretty cool people who also don't have any hangups about sports attire. Anyway, I was climbing at a popular tourist spot, and I saw a lady in a Burka, only eyes showing. Now do this mean that she is limited in the type of activities that she can pursue? I mean its not like you can run a marathon in a burka, what is the deal, are you ladies sidelined by the dress codes?

P.S. I don't mean any disrepect, I'm just curious
