Different cultures have different perspectives, you would also have to define what it means to be a man or woman.

In Judaism 13 for a boy and 12 for a girl are the age of adult hood, ie. the age when one becomes personally responsible for their actions, and as such can make financial transactions on their own, etc. These ages are also connected with a child's change in consciousness, that the vast majority by this age are aware their actions have consequences.

between 20 and 25, because that's a milestone right there. You're out of high school, and almost out of college or in the military... and that is the time you have to decide whether you're going to make something into a career or not. Those are the days you have to think for yourself, not for others, because you are now independent. That is the time frame where you decide you want kids or not, or your girlfriend is with you for life... Just because one is 18 years old does not make them a man OR woman. The time you choose your future is when you have grown up.

Becoming a man has nothing to do with age. I know a 55 y/o who thinks he is a man but does not act it. Then there are the 18y/os serving in the military, who are more man those most who never serve at all.
A man takes care of his resposibilities, well mannered, polite. Age does not make a man.

It does variety. There are diverse rites of passage. some cultures have some variety of formality or try that a boy could bypass with the aid of to bypass into manhood. For me, this is while he particularly matures (not bodily, yet mentally). the government can bypass rules approximately while individuals are old adequate to do particular issues (I see a brilliant style of human beings giving a while linked with rules, like 18 or 21), yet there is not any set age for adulthood. i'm 24 and that i'm nonetheless a toddler.

that is directly related to the their maturity level, and how responsible they is when it comes to how a situation is handled. Whatever the case may be, in both male and female, they weigh pros and cons, affects, reactions, and consiquinces carefully, and be honest. Age has nothing to do with it, I was more mature at 18 then most people twice my age, and now at 31, i have a very beautiful house, a good job, and an awesome girlfriend.

Its all in who you are

Well.... women do mature quickly than a man.

I'd say a woman is mature at the age of 22 and for men around 25. It's different for all people, but around here it goes.

Legally boys are men at the age of 21 and girls are officially women at 18. But I recently heard that girls are legally adults at 17 years of age.. I think its mainly because of their mature level is high than boys. Hope this helped.. Vote for me! LOL

I don't really think it's a define age that make one a "man" or a "woman" I think it's when you realize that the world doesn't revolve around you and when you learn to take other's feelings into consideration.

At the accepted age of the society in which we live. Other wise this sort of question gives unscrupulous people justification in thinking the age of the child has declined as we evolve.
