The funniest and saddest ones. Similar to realizing we love people only when they're gone, or trying to find fulfilment where it cannot be found, or white people tanning themselves while Filipinos use skin whitening products both in the search for beauty...

her husband was severely brain damaged....and she had done all she could to help him...(two years)...but to no eval...it is very sad...and i feel whatever decision she makes is fine with me...BECAUSE I HAVE NOT WALKED IN HER SHOES....if you did get a divorce or maybe an annulment..(most churches will ALLOW you out of marriage that is NO MORE)...YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN....would you tell people..or just say.."it did not work out as we had planned..."...and if they ask anymore questions,,,,just say.."i don't relive it, i have had to let go"...and walk away...My friend hasn't made a decision,,,but she has children...and it will BE VERY DIFFICULT....to even support them...i can't imagine the pain she has had to endure...that is not living!!! WHAT TO SAY TO NOSY PEOPLE when they ask...and they will!!!! so she does not have to keep re-living it!!! it is gruesome...

It would seem that it is someone that has no respect for the system and plans on using it. There needs to be better rules out there to stop people from abusing the right to sitting on their butt and getting paid.

A survey (yet another one!) has reported that people today spend their lives devoted to their office and are likely to curtail their social lives all in the name of working extra hours.

One in five also say that their careers means that they are putting a relationship on the backburner.

Many people are working until eight in the evening, so they are working at least 11 hours a day, every day.

Have we become a nation of workaholics and surely the social implications are harmful to our society.

Yes, there is a real fear of nuclear warfare, bombs being dropped, poison gases, etc.
But does anyone see the big picture? If or when this stuff occurs - we have NO WHERE to run. Because the earth will be dead or dying, the food poisoned, the air - poisoned. It will take 10 years or longer before this planet can be populated, again. Not the way we know it - but populated. If there are survivors of course.

We will be living a "Mad Max" existence.

Does anyone have any ideas of how the "first" life forms will emerge? will we live in ashrams? live in solar powered home (if we get the sun back). Will we live under ground? Will we become like the cave dwellers?

What do you all see?
