Everyday is Thanksgiving. It's just disturbing that more people dont/wont help others in need throughtout the year not just on holidays.

I care about Thanksgiving because it's a day to spend time with family & those I love. I feel fortunate, because I do feel lucky to have these things. I realize others are not as fortunate & that is a problem that is around everyday for the rest of the year, not just on a holiday - I think about that a lot not just today but all the time.

I do feel very fortunate and wish I had lots of money to help others! I don't understand how we can live in a world where we have celebrities with 5 homes and billions of material things to their names but there are people living on the streets! VERY DISTURBING!!!!!!!!

I feel very blessed even if my family is disfunctional. We all should be thankful that we have food to eat.It also makes me feel sad people are starving but there are sad things everywhere even here.People are dying ,killing each other ,There is much to be said on the subject but i will leave by saying this as long as we try to do unto others as we would have them do unto to us then the rest is in GODS hands.

Thanksgiving is due to the settlers coming to America and breaking bread with American Indians. It is about giving thanks to the fact that we can have large turkeys with bread stuffing, lots of desserts and other carbohydrate-rich foods without having to worry about starving like other parts of the world. Be thankful for what you have, and you can pray for other people to get what they need.
