I trust myself to know what to look for in the strangers I meet. I have met many nice people who were at one time strangers. And I am glad I let them in. But knowing what to look for is essential in your well being.

In general I do, at least to some extent. I probably won't hand anyone a hundred dollars without at least a little bit of background info, and I'll survey a situation to see if it's dangerous in some way, of course. But I generally assume that people will be honest and forthright.

Being an Indian
we indians are very conservative by nature......we hardly trust strangers...
(that is different matter tht we're very helpful ones)
most of people , after being mature , we have natural sense tht which one is to be trusted & which one is not.........so its totally dependent upon mutual interface ...

No not anymore because we are taught to be careful . I still try to give people the benefit of the doubt .
