Abiogenesis. Life from non-life.
Scientists are very sure about this. They believe that life formed from a pre-biotic soup. This happened in a completely undirected way, based entirely on a trillion to one freak occurrance.
Of course the best way to prove this hypothesis would be to recreate it under laboratory conditions. But so far...even with all our expertise in biology, chemistry and physics... science hasn't been able to produce the simplest form of life from inanimate matter.
The Miller-Urey experiment (1953) mentioned earlier resulted in elemental organic compounds, none of which constitute life. That experiment took place over 50 years ago, and in all that time there has been no advancement based on that experiment that has served to create the most elemental living organism.

According to the evolutionists, life started in a mud soup. They believe that a boiling mud pool was the origin of life.

In short, the Miller-Urey experiement. ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miller-Urey )
They essentially took the elemental elements from the Earth's early atmosphere, put electricity through it (for instance the same electricity that would be generated statically in the atmosphere - similar to lightning) and lo and behold biological organic compounds started forming - the building blocks of life!
From there, there's a few theories. I'd say the most popular theory is the RNA-world hypothesis ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RNA_world_hypothesis ).
All of the theories are discussed here: ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_of_life )

I heard somewhere that they believe life started in the waters by the unicellular living organisms... probably organisms like bacteria, viruses or amoeba, and then by time they evolve to 2 celled organism... four... eight... so on and so forth... I dont know if I explained it right... hehehehe....

they believe in a theory called The Big Bang! I think the name just sounds phony! it says taht we evolved from apes which is relle odd, not 2 mention weird, but anywho, it also says that things went up in the sky like a piano, a horn, and some other items and they came down as a cow...i mean, weird things like that!! if u go 2 google.com, then u can find out more aobut it!!

well there is all different types of theories there is the Big bang theory.which is everything just exploded as it is, then there is theistic evolution which is God made everything through evolution. It just depends on which one you are talking about. But you do know that evolution is not real! after all it founder Darwin completely denied it in his death bed.

They think that somehow two molecules mated and then made a retarded monkeyfrog, and then two of them mated and now we're human monkeys. And of course, for some STRANGE reason we're not evolving anymore into some kind of complex being.
