It seems that every question I ask, I don't get an answer, I get someone's opinion. Why can't people just answer the question, if you don't know anything about what someone is asking, then....don't say ANYTHING!

A question was posted earlier about the U.K making remembrance day a bank holiday. This received a couple of replies from your fellow countrymen along the lines of "when you win some wars on your own" etc etc. My question is this, ignoring the technicalities of who won the war, the fact is we lost many people in those wars. So why is it you feel the need to insert your noses into what we do in our country. Are you all that arrogant, not to mention ignorant.
My guess is that even though i have asked this in a sensible and fair way the majority of Americans will just attack me without actually answering the question.

I think some of the people on here are some of the laziest people I have ever {seen?} It really makes no sense to ask a question about something that you could easily look up yourself, and it is usually something really stupid too. I just thought of how this makes society even lazier. I beleive it is easier anyway to look up my own information. Well thats all I would like to type for now. Do you agree or perhaps disagree?

The view from the sunny window,
From a childs imaginitve mind.
Is a warm place full of freindleness,
Where people seem so kind.

They cannot see the dangers,
That lurk beyond their gaze,
Of the slow ruin of the earth,
By the suns destructive rays.

They can not see pollution,
Or rain forests gettin fewer,
Or household waste disappearing,
Down every murky sewer.

They do not know the perils
of a threatning nuclear war,
Or of the posionous gases
That pollute our earth for sure.

They have not witnessed poverty,
Or children living on the edge
Where begging is a necessity
So their not part of the dredge.

What they see is beauty,
Where wonderful things come true,
Where pixies chase each other,
And flowers dance on cue.

I guess its best if they keep this dream
It wont be long before they know the truth
The window will be a faded fantasy,
And the destruction will be the proof!!

Thanks x
