It is interesting how guys always look for a tree or wall to pee. What is the problem if they just pee everywhere, without something in front of them.

In my school all the black kids always gather in he same area in a big group during lunch, and they are always getting into trouble in class.

Like one teacher told this one black kid in my class to go to the office because he was using the F word at the teacher, and the kid goes "It's just because I'm black". to his friend before he got up to leave.

Why are they like that? And by the way, I live in Toronto, Canada not Alabama or w/e.

Do you believe that it is the woman's fault? I am asking this question because I was reading an article about a man named Sheik Taj Aldin al Hilali who compared women who do not cover themselves up as "un-covered meat" to animals and that it's not the animal's fault that they eat the "un-covered meat" but the "un-covered meat's" fault.

And of course I don't believe that, I'm just asking people's opinions.

I plan on moving to NYC once I graduate from college. I am from the south and realize that it will be a major change for me. What kind of advice can you fellow new yorkers give to help me adjust and survive in the big city?

Just for your reference, it's not like i'm some farm girl who's never set foot outside the farm. I'm from dallas, but even i know that the two cities are waaay different.

A lady by the name of Jane Doe, helped to nurse a dying woman back to health. The woman promised her money, houses, cars, property, cellphones, trips, laptops, etc. The lady told Jane Doe to take her child out of school and to quit her job. Jane Doe agreed and withdrew her child from school and walked away from her job. To celebrate the fact that she maybe coming into some money she withdrew all of the money in her bank accounts and threw a large lavish party. A few weeks after the party the woman told Jane Doe that she was going to give her the money and all that was promised. This is especially to American Indians, but also to anyone interested:

Some people say the word Indian is offensive,and prefer Native American or First Nation or maybe the name of a specific tribe.

But wouldn't anyone born in the US, or any country, be a native of that country? Europe has a lot of non-whites whose ancestors were immigrants. I think it would be offensive to imply that only Whites are English natives.

I guess First Nation is logical enough, but that seems to be a term used more in Canada.

I once read an interview with Sherman Alexie an American Indian Film maker. He said the word Indian was just fine. I also read an article by a member of the Lakota tribe, saying the word redskin is offensive. He chided people of all races who use the word redskin, including African-Americans & calls it the r-word. He used the term Indian throughout the article-link below. I get the r-word issue

I dont want to hurt others with a word if I can avoid it.

Maybe its the way I look, it seems like people are always hatin cuz I'm light-skinned wit long hair. Its not my fault, but I do present myself as a young woman and I'm nice to everyone I meet.

Has anyone noticed that many people on Yahoo! Answers ask questions about what to do in serious situations and a lot of the answerers suggest that they be less than truthful? That isn't even as bad as the fact that being a liar is apparently now socially acceptable...lying is even averted to as the right thing to do in certain situations. What happened?
