Rape is an act of aggression and has nothing to do with sex, except as the point of contact.
Would you blame a robbery victim for being robbed?

First of all A women is not a piece of meat we are Humans and no it is not her fault. The man should have control. I have been raped three times and mine you I do not dress immodest. so I truely believe that the men have to control themselves. would you tell a 10 year old girl that if she didn't wear that sun dress she would not have been raped. Do you tell the mother of a two year if she had put something other than a diaper on the kid she would have not gotten raped. NO! How do you explain to a Mentally disabled person that it was not her fault, her van driver just lashed out on her and raped her. I personally think that any man who looses control should be hung by his Nuts. Then he should be branded with a hot iron with the words Iam a rapeist where ever he gose people will no How sick he is! Touchy subject it hits a personal spot in my life, and that Handicap girl well she was my sister. The guy was lucky I did not get a hold of him.

In the first place, any woman-(even the cheapest hooker out there) is a human being, not any kind of piece of meat, like bait on a hook for fish.
Rape is a crime of power, not about sex, or attractiveness,as much as one might think. Think of the hot 2-year-olds, and slutty 70 year-olds who have been terrorized, raped and murdered. What enticing did they do? Are diapers a turn-on?
It's "blame the victim" week: A child got kidnapped because he tried to walk 3 blocks home down a deserted street. How stupid can you be?Or a cute 14-year-old refused to let the guy she was baby-sitting for put his hand in her pants, so he beat her up- she deserved it. Or someone let his front door unlocked and some guy walked in and stole the big-screen TV. That's what he gets for being rich. Jerk! You wear a new shirt to school and the guy in line in front of you slits your throat with a broken hanger--it's your mother's fault for buying you a red shirt.
Some cultures believe that women are natural teases, who are all alley-cats. And that no man can't be trusted around any woman because they are weak, and subject to her mysterious powers. Judaism, christianity, and islam, to name a few.
It is a load of crap.
While it is true that you can do somethings to deter crimes, like locking your doors, or walking with groups, or dressing like a nun, you can still be targeted and killed. Bad people will get you if they want you.
My opinion of rape? It would piss me off, but I could survive it , since I can handle anything anyone can dish out. If I had half a chance I would execute my aggreessor , and do my prison time.
My best advice is to watch what you are doing, walk like you know where you are going, don't walk around with money in your hand, and stay sober. Try to go through life leaving as little scar-tissue in your wake as you can. And be pleasant and a little distant with everyone until they PROVE trustworthy.
You might live to the ripe old age of 56, like I have, with out being beaten up, raped or robbed.
Maybe not. Life is fatal.

In my opinion...the Sheik is full of it. I respect his ability to have an opinion, but no, no, no. It is NEVER the woman's fault. Fault belongs entirely to the man. Yes, women can sometimes make themselves more a target, but that does not make it their fault.
Rape is mostly about power over the other person. Women cannot be at fault when a man tries to "exert his power" over them in this way.

in short rape is a force-full intercourse with a female. according to forensic psychiatric expert 99% of rape are done to take revenge. this rage for revenge is not always against the female but can be against any person related to her or in many cases anger is for that particular society. one very good example for this is rapes in war by enemy soldiers on completely unknown lady, done only to humiliate the society. even old ladies are not spared.
in this care of Sheik Taj most probably dint want women of his religion to break any rules, and he found a very violent yet effective way to express his thought or according to him "warn" general public.
in this incidence there was no fault of lady, but she was a victim of a psychopath.
to avoid such incidence young people have to come forward and express there protest. and more importantly we have to educate the unfortunate once so that the coming generation can see a change........

If a woman says no... or no more... from that point it is rape..regardless of attire or lack there of...
All rapists need to be dis-armed
I do, however, believe that many "women" set themselves up to be targets by the way they dress and behave... I also believe that a lot of the beavior and drees is influenced by the over sexualization of children and carried over into adults much to the extream... Men react to visual stimulation... keep men stimulated to the level things are now and the reaults are the levels of sexual crime we now face.... Start girls out thinking and acting in sexual ways, like the JonBene' stereo type and little boys being constantly exposed to what is made to be "normal" sexual behaveor on tv and vidio... you get sexualy aborant behavior later...

rape is wrong and is a violent crime, women should be able to wear what they want to wear without men who cant control their sexual urges thinking that she is suggesting that it is open invitation that she wants something sexual to happen, rapist will always put the blame on the woman because they do not like finding any fault within themselves and will try to shift the blame on the woman by saying she was wearing this or that or her clothing was suggestive, women today get raped by dates, family members and by men who are sexual predators who have a history of doing this crime and targeting women who are alone in houses, apartments and when they are leaving public areas while going to their cars or even getting into their place or residence, more women need to be aware of their surroundings and that no one can really be trusted and protect themselves always by carrying something....

Rape is all about a sense of power. It is not the woman's fault and any response of why one feels it is okay is just an excuse to make the rapist feel that it is okay for such an act to take place. If they had to face themselves they would have to change and they don't want to. Rape is wrong and should be reported and punished.

I consider any contact with a unwilling partner assault/perverse and rape.
That includes arranged marriages. Treating women like cattle has got to stop. You could never find a women that would want to marry a stranger. But you could find many that do and always say its what i wanted. Sure being sold by your family is great.

He is trying to say that because women know that the risk is greater for rape if you "advertise the goods" in front of everybody that its somehow their fault if they get raped!..(which I don't agree with)
By that logic, the risk of being an islamic extremist or terrorist is greater if you are islamic and wearing islamic clothing, then using HIS logic, he must be a terrorist then!?!?.

See, that "Shiek" title pretty much sums it up. He is no doubt of the variety that believes that the "uncovered meat" is for all animals to consume...oh, and then MURDER because they had the misfortune to be ravaged by the animals. Honor, they call it. I call it barbarism.
Rape is, to be perfectly frank, right up there with murder in terms of criminality and there is no appropriate punishment for the act other than castration.
