many kids in america that need it also but not 1 commercial about them! TO ALL WOMEN/MEN THAT CANT AFFORD TO HAVE CHILDREN DONT HAVE SEX KEEP YOUR DANG LEGS SHUT THEN WE WOULDNT HAVE SUCH A PROB!

Lita, that money doesn't go to anybody. That is a commercial to make money. Those children are actors and it is a set not a third world country. Think about this for what it costs you could feed every kid in the world three times over. They make millions on those adds. How do they get by with it? They get to deduct absorbadant CEO wages, camera man, actors,set fees, etc. etc.
For every dollar donated less than 1/`10 of 1 % goes to help anyone other than the guys who came up with the idea to make money. Why are all evangelicals preachers on TV on the Forbes 400 list of richest men in America? They ask for money for the poor and they live in multimillion dollar mansions and own a fleet of jets. For what all those men make it was said the poor would be rich. That is a commercial, using children as bate. It makes money. Even governments can't get in there to help those people. They are poor because of corrupt governements.
One man said take up a collection for birth control pills and we will contribute.

I don't want to be mean but I must say you must have not ever been to any other countries. There is NO such thing as poor children in the US WHEN you compare it to a child in Africa for instance. The average poor family here in the US has a television, food stamps to get something to eat, health care paid by for by taxpayers if they need it, schooling, the list is endless. Although I still feel for the poor here and they DO have a hard life--the difference between the two is fundamental. An African child gets NOTHING that the parent cant provide, and the parent gets NOTHING. Imagine going back to a time where you grow or hunt your food or you do not eat unless you like insects; and I am being very serious, some are forced to eat insects to stay alive.
