I plan on moving to NYC once I graduate from college. I am from the south and realize that it will be a major change for me. What kind of advice can you fellow new yorkers give to help me adjust and survive in the big city?
Just for your reference, it's not like i'm some farm girl who's never set foot outside the farm. I'm from dallas, but even i know that the two cities are waaay different.

New York City is extremely unique.
It is the most expensive place to live combined with the fact that you do not get much for your money.
New Yorkers are extremely good people.
This city moves fast, I mean really fast. People, businesses, traffic.
