i am questioning the logic behind not asking women to remove their veil in public when we are asking the hodies of some youth to be removed. I egknowledge the fact that the crime rate is surely higher among young yobs wearing hodies than among muslim women wearing the veil, but mistunderstand me correctly that when we asking something of someone we have to take it to go for other people as well, otherwise we are creating a very selected and segregated country. (for example what stops a yob than dressing up as a muslim woman and go rob a shop for example, where the shop-owner is to worried about political corectness than to ask the person to remove the veil??? its hard to judge a person on a pair of eyes, a bit of mascara is all you need to change 'personality') just a thought really...

If the woman you were dating went on a family vacation, and one night got drunk in a club. As she dances around, she begins to dance quite sexually with another woman. As the night goes on, and the drinking continues, the one you are dating is convinced by her sister (who knows all about you) talks her into cheating on you with the other girl? And with almost no hesitation she admits, she ends up doing the deed with the said other woman. When your girl gets home from vacation she decides to tell you all about it, only she insists that she did it thinking that you wouldn't care, or you would like the fact that it had happend. Second, How would it make you feel if years later, you were still unable to get the same kind of event to happen with the same girl you have been dating while you were around?

I can't understand. Why do stores still use plastic bags when we all know they are terrible for the planet? After use, you see them smashed up against fences, swaying in trees and floating in streams. And they don't degrade. So why do they stll use them?

Why is it that if you ask a sexual question about something out of the ordinary, people cringe and accuse you of being sick and twisted? My wife and I for example, enjoy watersports. If you don't know what that is, it is sexual gratification from urinating on, being urinated on, or something along those lines. I don't understand why people get so hurt when they find out how other people decide to have their fun. Now just for fun sake, what kind of weird perversions do you all enjoy? Don't be shy, I know you're out there.

I am 62, yet I find many older people are anti-social and use their age as an excuse for bad manners.
Most of my friends are my age and find the same.
As a rule, I find younger people have better manners.

I was brought up in a middle class white family in the uk, that encouraged the rights of women and the questioning of established religion as it's pervading influences.

I'm sure that many people had other upbringings that influenced them, or they rebelled against.

However, when i look at other people, i think we all need to breathe, eat, drink water and get rid of our waste products- so we all have that in common.

Are lifestyle choices and our upbringing -the way we are programmed or influenced so to speak, giving us unnecessary conflicts when we are all human beings afterall?

can't the human race unite in it's similarities and stop fighting?

I have a couple of friends that are in the process of emigrating to Canada and I also know of many other people that have upped sticks and left the country to other climes.

We have a great country with superb heritage and culture but is there any promise of British people wanting to stay in this country, or will our bureaucracy and silly ways all cheese us off?

To emigrate or not to emigrate... that is the question?
