When I tell my friends that if and when I get married, I do not want a wedding ceremony or reception (fairytale like/big fancy gathering, etc) they all think I'm crazy. Am I weird, or are there any other females out there who also have no desire whatsoever in having a big glamorous ceremony/reception?

Yes, I KNOW that there are exceptions, but I have just begin noticing that it appears to be a trend. Is it because these black men have issues with their type of hair and they are shaving their heads so that the other raced women in their lives won't have to deal with black hair? My best friend's cousin's husband, my campus minister wife's brother-in-law, Montel Williams, Billy Blanks, two black men at my church, Taye Diggs and many other I have seen on the street and in the stores are black men who are shaven bald and with white or other nonblack women.

How to change back to your self? I here it is. I am 21 now and Ive been trying to be someone also for last two years. What happened was I read this book about improving your dating.It teaches you in order to attract women you need to have certain personality.So I was always trying to be that person in the book,watching everything I say,how I talk,walk,my face expressions,what kind of jokes I make,how I behave evertying according to the book. While I did got more attention from the girls,but in the long run I started feeling bad to my stomach.I knew it just wasnt me I was always so fake. I think I started being very self concsious,and started having social anxiety and panic attacks because of that.Before I just did whatever I wanted and I felt great.
Now Ive been someone also for so long I dont know who am I. I always think now is this the way should I behave,or is it something that I learned in the book.I always think how to act now in all situations,which give me great anxiety.

Are you happy? Whats the point of this life?
I always thought that if i had a nice car, nice house and a bunch of money i would be happy. But when i got all that, im still as unhappy as i was.

I just cant take this life anymore, where is happiness???

I was addicted to this site but lately I find that I do not log on as often. I'm wondering if it's the new format ( with no logging of recent activities) or maybe the questions are no longer interesting. How do you feel about it?

I found out tonight that my elderly neighbors do not turn on their heat in the winter because they cannot afford it. They spend close to 900 dollars a month on medications that they have to have. She was telling me that she has the new Medicare part D plan and that they are in the donut hole now. I work in healthcare and I know this is a problem among the elderly but it breaks my heart. I do not have a lot of money to help them pay for them either but I want to help them in any way that I can. I want to rest assured that they have heat this winter before it gets cold. What can I do?

Okay, so people complain about cursing showing how small a person's vocabulary is and how there are better ways to express oneslf. My question is, what are some words that capture the same sentiment as words in this category? Fudge and oh heck and drat and darn and oh gosh just don't make the grade, and I really want to have some more sophisticated ways to convey the feeling behind a curse. Thanks for the help.
