Too many parents give their kids names without having a clue as to what the names really mean. According to www.babynames.com, "Kyle" means "narrow land" or "handsome." So any parent who would name a girl Kyle is ignorant because those meanings just don't fit a girl. Also short-sighted about the effect it could have on the kid, lots of teasing and stuff just because the parents wanted to be cute or something. If I met a girl named Kyle I wouldn't say anything about the name, but I would think her parents were stupid. Like parents who name their daughters "Mackenzie" which means "SON of Kenneth." Doh. What were they thinking?

I'd just call her K. Personally I would not want to a girl with the name Kyle

Kyle is a total boy name and if I met a girl named Kyle I would secretly wonder if she was a cross dresser or transgender.

I'm pretty sure Kyle is a boy name. Kylie would be a good name for a girl though....

My sons name is Kyle, it sounds like a male name. Kyla is more for girls, I don't know, there is no law people nam their kids what they want. If I met a girl named Kyle, I wouldn't react in any way, I would tell her I like her name.

Kyle is definitely a boy’s name. I can’t see that as being a fitting girls name at all. Kylie would be better for a girl’s name.

Kyle sounds more like a boy's name to me. Maybe if you make it Kyley or Kyla or something.

Just think of that girl going to school. You remember how it was. School kids are obnoxious and mean. Do you want that girl coming home crying because kids are making fun of her name. I'm not saying that it's a bad name. But just think of the consequences.
