To buy something to smoke I mean were broke My parents would not give me any money unlist its for school. They don't know we smoke we ben caught that another story. Their parents no money did not smoke for aa week its really getting to us badly I can't even consentrade

Brazilians or people who visited or lived there please tell me what you think of the country, where to go, what to see, do, where to stay. I know it's a big country. I don't speak Portuguese but speak English, French, German and a little Spanish. Heck, I could even move there!

I love the South---the culture, weather, people (most of them, anyway.) It's just a great place to live, with a couple of exceptions, which I'll get to.

My TOP picks: Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, western North Carolina, west and middle Tennessee

Not my top picks but still great places: the rest of NC and TN, South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, Arkansas (west of Little Rock,) and Oklahoma.

Here are my exceptions:
-Kentucky: that place has the sourest people I've EVER seen in my life. Try making bets that very few people (especially women) will even say "thank you" when you hold a door open for them...I bet you'll win. The place sucks!
-Florida: same reasons, but it does have lot of jobs. It's kind of boring after you hit all the tourist attractions, however. (Side note: I like the weather.)
-Virginia: too rushed, b/c it's the southern end of the Megalopolis.

West Virginia doesn't count as South, no offense to anybody who lives there.

Sorry if the above question seems like a generalization. While hanging around with my white friends, they seem to have less of a problem with "sassing" their parents than black, asian, or latino young people do. I'm always amazed when my white friends feel like they have the "right" to call their parents awful names, and then just laugh it off. Their parents don't do anything about it! They maybe get a little huffy, but laugh too! One of my friends called her mom a "stupid b**ch", and her mom just thought it was the funniest thing in the world! If I, or one of my "minority" friends were to treat our parents like this, we would, at the least, not be able to sit down for a month!
Is this a cultural thing?
(again, sorry if it looks like I'm stereotyping. This is just something I've observed.)

it's a shame how nowdays blacks can use any racial slur they want with no reprocussions but if any other folks do it, the blacks are verrry offended. i am ashamed greatly by this and find that many people will work around alot of words to not offend, even hesitating to call a black person black because they might be offended. i am an american, my skin color is different but i'm no bling bling crack smoking criminal, it makes me very ashamed to see my people like this, that's the entire black culture now days, and if you are a successful black person, other black people will make fun of you calling you a "black whitey" and all this, when will the blacks step up and get some responsibility and stop trying to milk the government for all this crap.

I thought the security there would be better! But as it is, she keeps getting out to answer questions here and threaten my Rubber Duckys with experiments. Once in a while a Rubber Ducky dissapears altogether... I know she's behind it!So, how IS she getting past the security?

When you're taking a shortcut across town, your luxurious car broke down in the middle of nowhere and all you know is that you're in a bad neighborhood now (a ghetto with notorious gang activities). You know you maybe in great danger. Unfortuniately, you are alone, late at night 10:15pm. Worse yet, you are not a triple A club member (cause you didn't think you will need their service for your nearly brand new car.)
There will be another 50 min drive to go home.

Just when you're about to pick up your cell phone and call police for help. All of a sudden, there is one weird looking guy stopped his old truck, offering you a favor to drive you to the nearby garage for some emergency towing services....

I think its absoutly adorable, I juts go into a total since of awe when i see my 2 awsome guy friends kiss prob cause i know there such great people and they found love finally, and i just think it's so cute/hot.

I mean really people enjoy girls kissing why don't they like boys kissing...

u know if it's acceptable for two straight girls to kiss for others
which i find totally wrong because i see no need for a girl to have to kiss a girl to impress a guy. But why can't guys kiss and peoiple be chill with it?

I just read the report on the 'offensive' magazine cover (simply a mother feeding her baby). There's nothing offensive about the human body at all, and more of it should be shown on TV, instead of the extremely gross things we see today (CSI, blood, news reports of death, and how many Iraqis we've killed). Some people may say 'to protect the children', but what is it really going to hurt? Everyone has a body, everyone knows what they look like.

I know that homeless people often encounter trouble for this, but I have an apartment, and it's nice to sleep outside and get a tan. Also, I won't have to make the bed if I do this.

I am so bored of lying out on my balcony, and I think that the neighbor girl watches me and takes photographs whenever I go onto my balcony.
