Seriously, why are so many White Americans depressed? I don't think our European counter parts are depressed, and the non white Americans seem to be doing fine. So what is wrong with you white people?

The farmer is speaking to his not too bright wife.
He tells her that the artificial insemination man will be coming today but he will be unable to meet him since he must go into town.

He asks her if she'll show the man to the cow that needs insemination and to help her find the cow, he will hammer in a nail above the cow's shed.

Sure enough, in the afternoon, the artificial insemination comes to the farm and the the wife leads him down to the the cow's shed.
After walking past a few cows, she spots the nail and tells the man that this is the cow that needs the insemination.

The man is quite impressed and wonders how she knew which cow is the right one.
As the wife walks away, he asks her what the nail is for?

The wife replies "Oh, I suppose it's to hang your pants on"

I walk home from work everyday. And I wonder if this is going to be my last day in one piece. There is this large (Cane corso) that wants to attack me for a second time. The first time I had to get 32 stitches in my leg.And where I live, a dog is allowed 3 strikes.
It's not the dog fault, only the stupid owner.
At least 3 time's a week the dog is roaming free. And on one of his adventures,he all most killed a german shepard.I am soo scared that this 140 lbs dog is going to use it's last strike on me.
Any advice on what you would do,if you were me?.
I need to protect myself without seriously hurting the dog.....HELP
NOTE: every time I call the police ,the dog is already back in the house. And when question, they totally deny that the dog was loose.
The police always tell me it out of there hands..................

Tired of the place you live, no full time job. Moving is an option but the thought of being lonely in a new place scares me. I only know one person there but he's nice and with time something more might develop. I would also have to find work and live in rented accomodation. Help!

I have tried all the "usual"..classses, Volunteer work, Church, etc. It seems everyone is busy and has lived here their whole lives, and are not very accepting of "Newcomers". ( AND it seems the people are so DIFFERENT.. ( I am more of a "City" person). I lost my parents a long time ago, and have one grown chid who lives far away. I pretty much don't care about anything anymore. It's a shame, as I feel I have so much to offfer, .

On Friday, I was walking home from work and I always walk home the same way but something was telling me to go home another way. So I did. On the way I met this man who needed help pushing his car, so I helped him get it out of the road and kept walking. Some bum asked me for some money for a beer, so being Friday I gave it to him. Then, 10 minutes later I found a $100 bill in the street.
This type of thing happens to me a lot. I don't feel it's only chance or circumstance. Following my gut has helped me out so many times in my life and I trust it always.
