Competition is good. Most people (who have any confidence) are competitive at some level. I think that without it standards would never be raised, and new hights would'nt be reached.

In my opinion, there is both good and bad competition. Good competition makes you want to strive for more. Bad competition is when it is an obsession and you have to win and make everyone else miserable at the same time. This is know as being "cutthroat".

with good sportsmanship it is always a good thing, and even among brothers it is good.
but to take competition to the point of ALWAYS having to win, it is not healthy nor realistic.

I don't know, it's good because you learn where you need to improve in some things, but it's bad when it means you have to go against your friends......
