In a way because peole deserve a chance in life. If you're not lucky, you really don't get ANY chances in life. It's really hard for a hapless person to be happy if they're not getting any chances. Lucky people are just fortunate for getting chances like these. However, it also depends because a hapless person may be lazy and really don't go out to seek for other opportunitie; on the other hand, a lucky person does.

No, because luck isn't an actual, tangible thing. Therefore, there isn't an actual quantity of it that exists. So, if someone claims to be "lucky" it doesn't mean that this person uses up all the shares of luck in the world - b/c the shares of luck are both infinite and non existent at the same time. You can't put luck (or love, or hate) on a scale to weigh it or measure how many cubic inches it occupies. It's a mindset and a crap shoot.
There's a logical answer to what was probably just a rhetorical question.

I think that luck is a perception. It's dependent on one's own expectations or experiences. If a person set's his or her own standards low enough, they may see any positive experience as being luck, where as someone who has high expectations and fails to achieve them may consider themselves unlucky. Chances are, if you consider yourself lucky, you probably have a better appreciation for things in your life than those who have a negative outlook.
I don't think that there is a set amount of luck that can be dished out everyday. It's all about what you make of your situation and what you do with it.

I don't think so. We shouldn't be basing on luck to live our lives. Whatever happens, either good or bad, to a person in the course of events is due to chance, fate or fortune.

Not at all. There's more than enough luck in this world for everyone. Though I do believe in some cases that you can create more opportunity for that luck?

I read another question of yours, and it seems like nice things happen to you because you are nice to people. Dont feel guilty about that.
