I think it's so others will notice them. They think a vehicle like this just screams, "Hey, look at me. Look at all the money I have. I can buy this big gas guzzling machine so I must be rich!" What it actually says is, "Hey look at me. I'm a real dork. I have all this money and nothing to spend it on but this big gas guzzling machine that ruins the environment for everyone else. I'm so selfish."

Really BIG vehicles for realy BIG insecurities. I hate SUV's. I lived in Europe for years and gee even people with big families didn't need an SUV.

Yeah, that's what i've got been listening to, adult men who purchase quickly/massive vehicles commonly attempt capture up on the few inches they are lacking down there. i think of it makes them sense extra egotistical whilst theycontinual around interior the vehicle.

It is a status symbol. I wonder why anyone would want one, though, since the insurance is so high and the gas??? I don't even want to go there!!

I totally agree. They're ugly and clunky and don't even ride smooth. I guess they think that they look super cool and are trying to show off their money, when really they just look stupid.
