I've noticed that sexually "open minded" people aren't necessarily socially open minded.

one of the family members who is the father to my husband's sister in law, said loudly that "if we dont get a place to sit, then it will be my responsibility".
Iam the only black person in this family.
his daughter tried to cover the damage caused by his father by saying his father "has a wild imagination", but it couldnt wipe what he had said.
What is your opinion on this?? and how do you think this family takes me???

I personally like the ones with the long hair and in their first half of their 30's. (I'm 45.) Is there any particular look you like in a younger man and age category?

I'll probably yet again be branded a racist for this. These questions are mainly targeted towards minorities; I'm curious about this.

If you are a minority, does it offend you to hear a white person say they are proud to be white? Does this make the person a racist in your view?

How would you feel if your local school started a "Caucasian club" but allowed people of any race to join? (just because I've already seen the same thing with an "Asian club."

How about if the government or a private association started scholarships, available only to white students?

I just can't understand why it seems like people think it's ok for other races to do these things, but that it's not ok for white people to do the same thing.

I'm a 3rd generation Japanese - my parents and I were born here in America. My parents and grandparents were interned in the camps during the war and when they got out, they tried to assimilate into the Amer culture so that they wouldn't be harrassed or discriminated against. So they raised me, my siblings and our generation to be Americans. I dont' even know any Japanese!

But yet people all the time tell me I "should" visit Japan, I "should" speak Japanese, I "should" know more about the culture, etc etc.

Why??? I"m more interested in Latin American culture than anything else and speak near-fluent Spanish! Why can't an American (with asian background) be free to be a typical American? They see my face and tell me what I should and should not be like.

Africans sold their family members into slavery for money, to get some relief from poverty; of course gangs kidnaped some and sold them into slavery. They pimped their women for money.

I think that same tendency exists in Black communities across the US with the exception of may be the well to do financially independent Black families. I have seen personally whores running on the streets and men behind running the drug rings and prostitution rings and street gangs. But in the past 10 years, things have gotten better because of better welfare, job programs, better law enforcement, as well as new streets and clean housing. But I think that the same tendency is still in action, only nowadays it happens behind the doors and hardly whores are seen on the street.
