Your statement, while indicative of your pain, isn't accurate. That may be your experience with ONE man, or a few men. It is not accurate or fair to describe ALL men this way, as you have not experienced all men.
Your description isn't even complete because it's unclear. What do you mean by "dogs"?
Here's a few tips for dealing with men:
- be clear about what you want / don't want in a relationship. Ask them up front to share their views
- don't enter ANY relationship with "attachments" and "expectations" about who they're going to be, what will happen, etc...
- don't try to "change" anyone.
A) You can't
B) You can't
C) At the risk of sounding redundant, You can't!
- just be yourself.
- have deeper conversations. Ask about values, goals, dreams, beliefs, how they handle money, etc... Go get a book called "the book of questions for love and romance".

Stop that. All men aren't dogs. My dog has more morals than some men, true, but not all men are dogs.
Maybe you need to broaden your horizons and look for someone different to meet your needs.
If you always pick the same kind of guy then they are always gonna suck.

Pursuant to the aforementioned answer, if men could lick themselves there would be far less interest in women...
You should look at how you arrived to your question. If you are feeling cheated and stung by a male it is bigotry to apply such sentiments to all males.

Not all of them are, the good ones are under your nose and you don't even notice most of the time. I was best friends with a great guy for six years and the whole time I complained that there weren't any good guys out there and then we fell in love and got married. Don't discount the ones that society shuns.

I have come to the conclusion that men have gone crazy. I have friends who do everything for their boyfriends and still get treated like crap. I myself stand up to my man. I refuse to give 100% if I am not receiving 100% from the relationship. I will not let a man mistreat me. I am woman...hear me roar!
